| August 1997 from Ronell C. After picking up my two dogs from your awesome facility yesterday, it hit me. I realized that without your help in caring for my dogs, I wouldn't be able to keep them. Since my profession requires me to be on the road about 40% of the time, I know I would not have been able to keep my dogs without your help. They are much too big for me to ask a friend to keep, and I have no family in the Northwest who could help. Which leaves me to having to board my dogs. During the time they stayed with you for four months, it was very hard on me. I knew I had a job to do but it hurt to be separated from them. The Mother's Day card and pictures you sent relieved me of all my anxiety. I saw how healthy they looked. I saw Damon, their handler, hugging on them. From the beginning I knew you were 'dog people', but when you sent me that card I understood that you were 'people people' too. That letter was for me, not my dogs, and I will never forget it. At Susie's Country Inn I know you do all that you say. I know you care specifically about my dogs and treat them as if they were your own. Thanks for being such a great second home to Dach and Joby and such great friends to me. |
